Human rights, one of the nine themes of global studies, is an obvious yet widely disputed necessity. Oftentimes, it seems that the definition of "human" is disputable as well, as discrimination and inequality continue to run rampant in today's society. However, the fight for human rights and equality persists with each generation, and I believe that with each small change, a larger impact comes closer.
